About Maya
I am a Law Undergraduate studying at the University of East Anglia. In my own studies, I am passionate about topics such as copyright, internet privacy, and contracts. Ultimately, however, my love for the Law comes from my love for English. The complexity of language is intrinsic to both subjects after all. I wish to inspire the same passion I have in others; at the very least, I want to give students confidence in their own abilities. Tutoring has always been a lot of fun for me. I've learnt more from my students than from my teachers sometime and that is something I am grateful for!

Tried and true experience is the basis of my teaching techniques, not only from my own studies but also having tutored others. My lessons are an open place to learn the language, understand its intricacies, and explore the beauty of literature. I start tutoring journeys with a 20-30 minute session to get to know students and their goals. The average lesson ranges between 1-2 hours - with ample breaks. I feel comfortable tutoring anybody taking GCSEs, A-Levels, or doing the International Baccalaureate.
