About Sidra
I am currently a university law student with a strong understanding of foundation maths and the patience to explain topics clearly. I take a professional and supportive approach to every lesson, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I understand that many students find maths stressful or frustrating, so I focus on building confidence as well as improving understanding. My aim is to create a calm, reliable learning environment where students can make steady progress and feel more prepared for classwork, homework, and exams.

I take a calm and supportive approach to tutoring, focusing on helping students understand maths step by step rather than memorising methods. I begin by identifying which topics a student finds most difficult, then break these down using simple explanations, worked examples, and guided practice before moving on to independent questions.
My lessons focus on building confidence in foundation maths topics such as fractions, percentages, ratio, algebra basics, graphs, averages, and exam-style questions. I also help with homework, revision, and improving problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, although shorter lessons can also work depending on the student.
I am currently a law student at university. While I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I am patient, organised, and able to explain things clearly in a way that helps students feel comfortable asking questions.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE foundation maths students who want extra support, more confidence, and steady progress.
