About Max
I am a final year law student at King's College London. I have only recently begun giving literature lessons but was involved in tutoring programs throughout my sixth-form. As a voracious reader and having written more essays than I can remember over the course of my education through the International Baccalaureate and my law degree, I feel confident I can provide keen insight into pulling apart a text to analyse it and to produce a brilliant write up.

Classes will depend on the student's needs. I can base my teaching around a particular text (be it a novel or a poem) and go through chapter-by-chapter or line-by-line to highlight key themes and motifs, literary techniques employed and discuss what overarching imagery or structural devices might be useful for using in an exam or essay question. If needed, I can go through a student's written work to see whats working and what could use some improvement to push their marks to the top level. More importantly than anything I aim to pass on my own enthusiasm for literature and the heightened experience that comes with truly diving deep into a piece of writing.
