About Navitha
Hey, My name is Navi, I am studying law at Durham university.
Sociology is a fascinating subject in which students find themselves discussing more about various theories that are present in our everyday lives. I have studied sociology at a GCSE level then moved forward with my love of sociology through to A levels. I have past experiences within tutoring as I have tutored year 4 students, English and Maths. Hence my experiences have allowed me to witness first hand the profound impact I can make on a student’s academic development.

My tutoring sessions will be mostly be interactive as I believe students need to actively engage with the lesson to really understand particular theories. However I will also adapt my teaching techniques to fit the student, as a student myself I understand the importance of personalised lessons as everyone learns in a different way. My main goal is to leave every student feeling confident that they have fully understood the lesson. I understand that educational materials such as past papers, which are successful in giving students a feel of exam questions and how to structure certain essay questions, are vital in sociology.
