About Zoe
I am a 1st year law student, I began tutoring on the Peer tutor app in November 2020, previously have have tutored from a close clientele of family and friends, now away from home I would love to begin tutoring and helping more people with their education.

My teaching methods include first asking what the student understands about the topic in general testing their knowledge on that area before, highlighting that area as safe and not requiring too much attention or putting it on a list of things that they need to revisit. Then I ask what they understand the least in the topic, then focus on those areas more. I use flash card apps such as quizlet to help students breakdown information that they have learnt into smaller pieces that they are able to digest and understand better. I also use mind maps to give a more visual understanding of the topic by plotting keywords and key topics and labelling significant areas, the web resource prezzi can also be used in mind mapping electronically.
