For me it is mainly important to get to know the student a little better and to see where the problem is situated. Is it difficult to stay focused for a long time, is there a backlog, tasks are handed in too late, ... Afterwards, together with the student, I will look at how we can get around this and what tricks that schoolwork goes a bit more smoothly. Together we will consider whether it is necessary to evaluate the way of studying in itself. Finally, we put together a feasible schedule for the coming week or 2 weeks that the student feels comfortable with.
