About Léa
Student in the last year of law degree, I participate each year in university projects such as artistic projects (writing, theater), eloquence competitions (such as United Nations modeling) or pleading (Lysias competition). In the same way, I am fortunate to have integrated a section of English specialized in Law for 2 years which, by its small structure, allows a current use of the language and deepened of the language. I have already been able to give lessons in this matter to two college students, one of whom was dyslexic, during an average school year; time to catch up on a possible delay or a global misunderstanding and to provide new stable and solid bases for further studies. I also help with homework help in general. During these years of license, I participated as an amateur actress in an independent play. I previously obtained a literary baccalaureate with honors. On this occasion, I was able to follow a fairly substantial and very rewarding theatrical section for three years as well as a European section in Italian. I have traveled twice in this country in full immersion (language spoken daily), and speak the language fluently with my friends. I also obtained the mention mention patent. In professional terms, I was able to work as a summer assistant in the compliance and business development department at a banking establishment. The structure of teaching is for me an essential framework for a good understanding of the elements covered. However, it should not rhyme with boredom. Depending on the interests, passions and facilities of the students, I try to modulate the courses offered so that the examples, themes and exercises are interesting and serve understanding. The format is therefore not universal and focuses on the specifics of the student. Nevertheless, I am very attached to the idea of approaching the subjects from a practical angle as well as that of diversifying the general culture of the pupil by interesting him through works, documents or illustrations that encourage reflection. The goal is to concretize what may seem difficult at first and, ultimately, to help the student appreciate and understand the material so that it takes off on its own. To do this, it will first be necessary to target the difficulties through a dialogue with the parents as well as the student and general exercises aimed at determining the student's level. It will also be time to discuss learning methods. Languages are a great way to learn in a fun and active way. At the same time, I would be delighted to help students who have difficulties with speaking. Being myself originally very shy, I learned to learn many keys through my theatrical and university experiences.
