About Refilwe
Hi! My name is Lucy, and I’m an enthusiastic and patient English tutor from South Africa.
I enjoy helping people become more confident in using English, especially when speaking and expressing themselves. I believe learning a language should feel comfortable, engaging, and practical rather than stressful.
My lessons are friendly and student-centred. I’m happy to work with you on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or simply practising everyday English.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your English-learning goals!

My English lessons are relaxed, practical, and tailored to each student’s needs and level. I focus on helping students build confidence while improving their speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and listening skills.
Lessons are interactive and encourage students to speak as much as possible in a comfortable, supportive environment. Whether you want to improve your everyday English, prepare for school or work, or simply become more confident when communicating, I will adapt the lessons to your goals and learning pace.
My aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling that they have learnt something useful and are one step closer to speaking English confidently.
