About Tatum
I am a Law Graduate from the University of Nottingham who studied English Literature A Level and achieved an A*. I have loved studying English and it is incorporated into many of my hobbies which include creative writing and poetry as well as being part of a Book Club. It has always been a subject that has inspired me and I wish to share my passion with others and inspire confidence in students.

My teaching approach is one that fosters confidence with using writing and literary techniques to produce high-quality work. I would use exemplars to demonstrate the level of which we are aiming to achieve with emphasis on learning new skills in a calm and nurturing environment that focuses on a positive expanse of knowledge. I have set up the Diversity and Inclusion Society and the Feminist society in Sixth Form as well as being Head of House which meant I was often dealing with younger years in a position of giving them guidance and advice. I was in charge of setting up meetings to discuss educational topics relating to Feminism that were age-appropriate and a comfortable environment for people to ask questions without judgement. My typical length of a lesson would at most be an hour long, being offered for GCSE English and A Level English Literature Students.
