About Charles
I am acutely aware of the deficiencies in the current schooling systems. These range from the lack of proper time allocation and attention to detail. Having been in this position myself I feel as though offering something to support students who have been in a similar position is a really worthwhile pursuit.
Furthermore, with extensive experience in academics at both University and School I am well suited to understanding the needs of each student.
Within these academic spheres I have attained high grades, developing my own methods which are worth sharing.
With extensive experience of tutoring with affiliated tutoring companies and privately I am adept at understanding the underlying areas students struggle with. This has given me the aim of building students up from the base and ensuring students are capable and confident.

Each lesson has the core aim of furthering skills students need to tackle exams. This includes becoming confident with material, applying critical thinking skills, improving essay writing and exam technique.
Each lesson also has secondary aims. These secondary aims, such as learning content and do revision practice to ensure that the student can fulfil the primary aims.
All lessons are personally tailored to the skills of the student.
Each lesson will last 1 hour, dependent on the needs of the student.
I have tutored both privately and for MyTutor.com. Furthermore I have previously run advance and study support groups in school and at university.
My lessons are aimed primarily towards A-level and University applicants. I also offer GCSE classes.
