About QTutors
Hi! I’m a law graduate with a strong academic background in English Language and English Literature, having achieved A* at GCSE and top grades at A-Level.
English has always been one of my favourite subjects, especially analysing texts, exploring different interpretations, and learning how to express ideas clearly and confidently.
I decided to tutor because I know how overwhelming English can feel — whether it’s understanding a novel, structuring an essay, or knowing what examiners want. I enjoy breaking things down into simple, manageable steps and helping students build confidence in their own abilities.
My goal is to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving. I genuinely enjoy seeing students grow in confidence, develop their skills, and achieve results they’re proud of.
Whether you’re aiming for top grades or just want to feel more confident in English, I’m here to help and support you every step of the way.

Approach to Tutoring:
I offer structured, student-centred tutoring in English Language and English Literature, focused on building strong analysis, confident writing, and exam success. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and exam board.
I teach clear essay structure, close text analysis (language, structure, themes), and exam technique, using past paper questions and mark schemes. Students receive targeted feedback on written work and guidance on how to improve quickly.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions available for intensive exam preparation. Optional homework and essay practice are provided.
I achieved A* in GCSE English Language and Literature, strong A-Level results, and am a Law graduate, bringing advanced skills in critical reading and argument-based writing.
Lessons are suitable for upper KS2, GCSE, and A-Level students (ages 10+), including those aiming for top grades (6–9 / A–A*).
