About Alex
Hey there! I'm Alex, a current student studying Law (Honors) and Arts at Monash University. Over the past few years I've had the privilege of living in multiple countries, engaged in multiple industries such as tourism, sports, hospitality and legal. Through these experiences, I’ve come to see language as a powerful tool that bridges both linguistic and cultural gaps. Teaching English to non-native speakers has been a long-standing passion of mine. I tailor my lessons to each student’s level to ensure they are approachable, accessible, and adaptable. Whether you’re aiming to improve everyday conversation, prepare for academic exams like IELTS, or gain confidence in professional communication, I’m here to support your journey. My teaching style is patient and encouraging, with a strong focus on real-life usage and cultural context. As a Korean-Australian, I teach English to non-native speakers across various skill areas, including writing, speaking, reading, listening, and critical thinking.
