About Marie
Clarity on the fretboard is a byproduct of understanding structure, though most people think it is just about speed. We focus on intermediate learners and advanced players who want to bridge the gap in their current knowledge.
I use my background in Tex-Mex and Latin music to teach you how to improvise with intent. We will cover grade exam prep if that is your goal, or we can look at the physical maintenance of your gear. Are you ready to see how your playing shifts when you apply these concepts?

Studying music in Mexico changed how I view the fretboard. Guitar is my life. I spent 8 years gigging the Latin pop circuits while honing my technique on the instrument.
My teaching focuses on barre chords, power chords, and the intricacies of improvisation. I have worked with 331 students to improve their soloing and maintain their instruments properly.
Sometimes the simplest rhythm is the hardest to master. I ensure my pupils understand the mechanics of tuning and the logic behind complex chord shapes. I bring 13 years of experience to every session to help you grow. Feel free to reach out if you want to explore the guitar with me.
