About Amy
I have been a private tutor for over ten years, where I've worked in small groups, taught mini classes and engaged in one on one lessons. I've worked with pre-K through high school in various levels of writing, reading and grammar. I've most recently been working with homeschooling families and have been fingerprinted and cleared through the DOJ. I also have a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught prior to tutoring.

I'm passionate about teaching language arts/reading/writing and helping my students gain a better understanding of the fundamentals. I'm an experienced tutor, dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic goals and excel in their studies. I'm an interactive tutor and enjoy using books, games and hands on learning tools as effective teaching tools. I understand that each student learns differently and build the lesson around their skills, strengths, and future goals.
