About Karen Michelle
My teaching journey started back in 2016 when I acquired my TEFL certification. Since then, I have taught people of all ages and have helped many students bump up their grades in foreign language lessons be it with my own curriculum or with the help of their school's learning material. I love learning and teaching, and languages have been a passion of mine since I was young. After learning English when I moved to England at 10 years old, I realised many people think learning a language is harder than it is. That's why my desire to be a teacher turned into my objective of helping as many people as I can realise that they do have it in them to learn a language and that if they had felt like they didn't, it wasn't their fault.

Hi! My name's Karen and I'm an experienced language teacher. My native language is Spanish and it'd be my greatest pleasure to help you in your process of learning this beautiful language. I focus on acquiring a language naturally and entertainingly. I want you to learn gradually and smoothly so that the whole process ends up feeling much easier than expected. Once you take the stress out of learning, you become much more productive and gain confidence, and that's what I want to help you achieve. I am open to adapting to your needs. Want to do better in school? I've got you! Are you taking Spanish in college? I'm here for whatever you need.
Lessons with me have a lot of practice and gradual exposure to the language. I make sure to challenge you enough to keep things new without overwhelming you or giving too much information.
