About Randi
With more than 30 years of teaching experience, I tutor students in all areas and levels of Language Arts, including: English, Writing, Reading Spelling, Phonics, Grammar, Speech, and Acting. I love to tailor my lessons to my students, so that the teaching is more enjoyable and relevant. I use tried and true methods, and individualize them to each student's needs.
Struggling readers increase their reading levels in a matter of months.
* Higher level readers have doubled their reading speed in a few weeks.
* Shy students can become confident public speakers, and those already happy to get up in front of a crowd can improve their skills and techniques.

My teaching method varies with each student. I am trained in the Spaulding Method of Reading, Writing and Spelling, but I have other tools in my toolbox that I've gathered over the years. These tools allow me to "switch it up" according to the learning style and interests of the individual student.
