About Sebastian
Born in Puebla, Mexico, Sebastian Arizpe Vilana commenced his piano studies at the age of twelve, displaying a remarkable aptitude for the instrument. At fourteen, he decided to pursue a competitive tennis career, setting aside his musical aspirations. After being recruited to play division II tennis at Kutztown University with a major in Cinema, Sebastian realized that his passion lay not in film, but in music, and he recommenced his piano studies under the tutelage of Dr. Maria Asteriadou.
Recently a summa cum laude graduate with a commercial music major, with minors in jazz and audio engineering, Sebastian has continued to hone his skills and expand his musical horizons. He has performed at numerous venues both domestically in Mexico, including in Puebla, Mexico City, and Guanajuato, and internationally in collaboration with students from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he showcased his versatility in chamber music and jazz. Additionally, he was the first prize winner of the Kutztown University Concerto Competition, receiving the opportunity to perform Edvard Grieg´s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16, as a soloist with the Kutztown University Orchestra

As a Kutztown University graduate with a major in Commercial Music and minors in Audio Engineering and Jazz, I offer comprehensive piano lessons tailored to students at all levels. My approach focuses on teaching correct technique, including scales, arpeggios, and harmony at the keyboard, ensuring a solid foundation for all my students.
