About Nicola
I am going into my 5th year of teaching Science at a school in South London.
Within this time I have developed a skill set that are transferable to tutoring students independently.
I have led on small group interventions in the run up to end of year exams to support students obtain key knowledge. Within this I am able to support students with exam technique particularly on those longer 6 marks questions. This is because I have a detailed understanding of the specification and the skills required within each unit.

My teaching method is based on completing several I, We, You cycles which enables me to introduce new content, build on this knowledge with the student and then support them to use their knowledge in an applied context such as exam style questions.
I am familiar with the GCSE specification (AQA) and have specialised in teaching Triple Science for the last 2 years. I am therefore confident in my delivery of the curriculum and I am aware of how this relates to the specification and the final outcome of the exam paper.
