About Aiyesha

Having studied the first 9-1 GCSEs curriculum and having achieved a GCSE grade '8' and an 'A' at A-level, I have extensive experience in both learning and teaching English Literature and Language. As a tutor since 2017, I delivered online and face-to-face sessions for students studying English. I have taught students in KS1 to students in A-level. My 4 years of experience have enabled me to cater my teaching ability and style to suit the needs of each individual learner. I make my own teaching material after assessing the needs of the learner to optimise the potential of each student. Having been through the system myself, I understand the difficulty students face when navigating through the new assessment criteria. I am friendly, approachable and always keen to support you!

About the lesson

I am able to offer 1hr / 30 minute sessions up to 3 times a week (depending on the individual learner's needs), online or in-person. I am keen to allow you, as a student, to highlight your own areas of weakness and strength. I mark work, make my own material and work around the student to ensure the student progresses on to achieve their potential. I teach both English Language and Literature for: KS1 KS2 KS3 GCSE A-LEVEL (LITERATURE ONLY) My 4 years of extensive experience teach me that students learn best when they feel heard, seen and supported!
