About Mick
I offer friendly, supportive one-to-one English tuition for students in Years 7-9.
My aim is to help students become more confident and capable in English, whether they need a little extra support with schoolwork or want to develop their reading and writing skills.

I have a degree in English Literature and spent nine years working in a secondary school, including in the SEN department. This has given me considerable experience of working with students with different learning needs and adapting my approach to suit the individual.
I believe tutoring works best when a student feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and finding their own way of understanding something.
