About Stacy
Learning a new language is challenging, and I understand that better than anyone. When I came to Canada, I didn’t know a word of English. Through hard work and persistence, I graduated high school with honors and a 3.97 GPA, and earned offers from SFU, the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and McGill University, where I now study psychology. This experience shaped the way I teach. I focus on making lessons approachable, practical, and tailored to each student, so you can build the skills and confidence to write, speak, and express yourself clearly. My goal is to guide you every step of the way and help you reach a level of English that feels truly rewarding.

I help students build strong writing skills by working closely with them. We write essays together, review and edit them, and rewrite as needed until the student feels confident. It's not just about fixing mistakes, but it's about understanding why those changes matter, so you can write better every time.
I'm a diligent, detail-oriented, and friendly tutor who knows how challenging it can be to learn a new language. As a former immigrant kid myself, I understand how it feels to start from scratch, and that's why I'm passionate about making the process welcoming and rewarding.
My lessons are ideal for high school students (Grade 8 to 12) who want to build strong writing skills, deepen their understanding of the language, and gain the confidence to express themselves and their thoughts clearly and beautifully.
Together, we will turn challenges into strengths and help you reach your academic and personal best.
