About Ines
I am currently completing a PhD in Design, where my research explores lichens as a source of inspiration for sustainable and innovative design. Through this research, I investigate how living systems can inform new approaches to materials, architecture, and interior design. I enjoy sharing this perspective with students and encouraging them to explore nature as a source of creativity and innovation.

As an Interior Design educator, I teach design through a biomimetic and research-driven approach that encourages students to learn from living systems and translate biological principles into innovative spatial solutions. Through this interdisciplinary methodology, students develop creative, environmentally responsible, and evidence-based design solutions while strengthening their critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving skills.
