About Saam
I'm a current medical student at King’s College London with a strong academic background — all 9s at GCSE and A*AA at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. I’m passionate about teaching because I know how transformative the right support can be. I’ve been in the position of aiming high and feeling the pressure, and I want to help students feel confident, capable, and in control of their learning — especially in subjects like Maths and Science, which many students find challenging. Lessons are typically 1 hour, and I teach both online and in-person in north London. I’ve worked with students of different levels and abilities, from those needing a confidence boost to those pushing for top grades. Above all, I aim to create a supportive, friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress every session.

I take a personalised, student-centred approach to tutoring. I focus on building a deep understanding of the subject, not just memorising content. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their learning style, confidence level, and academic goals. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and use active recall, past paper practice, and exam technique coaching to make sure students not only understand the material but can apply it under exam conditions. My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but this can be adjusted depending on the student's needs and attention span. I’m currently a medical student at King’s College London, having achieved all 9s at GCSE and A*AA at A-Level. I’ve helped students improve by multiple grade boundaries and gain confidence in subjects they once found difficult. I’ve worked with a range of students, from those aiming for top grades to those needing support to pass. I tutor GCSE and A-Level students, mainly in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, aged 13–18.
