About Brittany
I am a first year medical student, studying at Kings College London. Throughout my time as a medical student, I will be teaching children how to study, learn and inspire confidence in their own abilities.
I struggled throughout primary to secondary school on learning and revising. Therefore, I understand how hard and tricky it can be. With my help, I can teach students that learning, understanding and revising are all verbs we use throughout our life time. They will gather life skills and be able to use this to succeed in the future.

One to one sessions and being taught by a medical student who has been through the same stress as you means I will be able to give you the support and help you need and deserve! Every child can succeed with the proper motivation and the proper support, which my lessons can give.
My experiences as a tutor within my secondary and sixth-form school have given me the ability to teach children effectively in certain subjects that I list below. I have taught Chemistry GCSE and English for a year and helped children learn to read for four years at my local library.
My teachings and methodology would start with the first lesson, learning about what level they are in their subjects, how they best learn (visual or otherwise) and doing a basic test to understand what they understand and what they don't. This would then inform the me as a tutor on where we need to start and which topics we should go over. Every three to four weeks, a small test is given to make sure they understand what has been taught the pass couple of weeks. This information will be available to the parents and a talk on how their child is doing will happen every four weeks.
I give 60 minute lessons, three times a week max to a single child. I teach children from the ages of 7-16 and can teach up to GCSE: English Language, Maths, Biology and Chemistry.
