About Jasmine
I am a PhD student in reproductive physiology / bioinformatics at King's College London. I fundamentally love science, and want to help students to discover ways that they can enjoy learning the content more. I have a wealth of teaching experience helping on the undergraduate Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, Anatomy and Sports Science courses at King’s, which equips me well to understanding a wide range of learning styles and techniques.
Having had to learn throughout my education to find ways of understanding and remembering content that were tailored to my needs, I am confident that I can help other students do the same, and realise their potential. Through my own personalised methods of revision during my undergraduate degree, I managed to graduate with an award for best performance in Biomedical Science.
I am also able to offer support and mentorship for university applications and year in industry applications, as I have completed a year in industry at the world renowned Francis Crick Institute where I was partnered in a Cancer Research UK lab.

My lessons are tailored to the needs of the student. Every student has a different way of digesting and retaining information. Many students end up losing confidence in their abilities and capacity to perform well in exams when their needs are not able to be met in regular classrooms. My goal is to find the most effective ways to build the student's confidence in themselves, the subject content and examination requirements, enabling them to perform at their best in their exams. Sessions are 1-2hr. Some students prefer shorter sessions that are deeply focused, whereas others prefer longer sessions if they tend to require more time to pick up the content.
