About Samreen

The first time I tutored, I was in grade 4. I was just learning French at school and due to my good grades and my easiness with people, my teacher paired me with another student to help them study and do homework. That was the year I realized how much I loved teaching and helping others through education.

Later on in life, I started to experience difficulties in school and I also reached out to a tutor who helped reach my goals and gain confidence in myself. This experience allowed me to understand both perspectives and improve my skills as a tutor.

About the lesson

I've worked with many students in the past and always adapted my teaching methods based on their learning preferences. Some students come up with ready questions and I just help them go over the material to answer the question by themselves then provide further explanations, while other students would rather go over the material together and ask questions along the way. If you have difficulties with reading, we can do it together and I can help you analyze the books and short stories.

What makes me a great tutor is my flexibility and my compassion, you will never feel shy to ask questions because I create a safe environment for my students where they can share their fears and difficulties. I also can explain the same topic in various ways and come up with multiple examples.

The lessons are usually for students until grade 11 but of course I can try my best to help you if you are in a grade above.
