About Fintan
Kia Ora my name is Finn Cahir, I come from a family of five and am currntly living in Wellington. I have been a teacher for two years and a tutor for a year prior. I love building relationships with students and seeing them have 'lightbulb' moments after coming to an understanding of diffucult concepts. I would describe myself as a friendly, approachable person who enjoys reading, podcasts, beaches, walks and football.

I would like to establish a bit about the learner beforehand in terms of how they like to learn, where they are up to in their courses and the specific areas or concpets in which they are unsure of so I can plan my lessons around this. My techniques involve working through practise questions and understanding concpets together, creating flashcards, dissecting videos, working through resources & finding alternative ways to understand diffucult concpets that suit the learners learning style.
I have been a teacher for two years and a tutor for one year. I specialise in Science, Biology and Psychology but have tutored physics and chemistry before. The age levels range from 12-18 or year levels 7-13.
