About Abhinandan

Have you ever felt like your friend could explain some concepts taught in class better than your own teacher? This does not mean that your friend is a better teacher, but simply means that your friend understands the kind of person you are and what can help you understand concepts better. Teachers in both schools and tuition centers follow a lesson plan, and it is rather difficult for them to keep the whole class on the same page, understandably so. Hence, as a student myself in University, my main aim is to get to know your learning style and what approach suits you the best to help you achieve the marks you desire. National examinations are one of the toughest in Singapore to crack, and several students struggle through them. I myself faced those challenges when I took those examinations. Only after understanding the pattern of examinations and methodology of studying with the help of my own tutor, did I realize that anyone is able to achieve the right results with the proper guidance and support. What I offer is dedicated time and understanding of you as a student. Learning should come from a place of curiosity and desire for knowledge. I hope to equip you with that passion as well as the skill sets our education system requires you to have so that you can reach your potential while handling the weight of the pressure that comes with studying!

About the lesson

Lessons will be 2 hours long. My lessons are targeted for students taking O levels, N levels or PSLE examinations.

I have achieved distinction in English for O levels and A for GP in A levels. I have also taken Triple Pure Sciences in O levels with Double Mathematics, all with B and above scores.

I have experience in tutoring juniors from Junior College and relief teaching when other tutors are unable to take lessons.

The first lesson will be an introductory lesson, which will involve identifying the weaknesses and strengths of students and exploring the learning style most suitable for them.

Subsequent lessons will involve conceptual learning to fill up learning gaps and rigorous practice in the end to fully internalise the concepts that has been taught.

Practices will be provided on my side to be completed and the students school notes will also be used as resources to help teach them to fully utilise the resources provided from school and tutoring.

I can be reached on whatsapp or email at any time if student requires extra support on non-lesson days. Would be happy to assist and make arrangements with students if they require extra tutoring.
