About Bernard
Hi, I am Bernard, a student at KCL. I study biomedical sciences with a particular focus on molecular genetics as well as pharmacology.
Biology is a broad subject with much to remember but with proper foundations all content can be reasoned out. My goal is to help you learn these foundations and how to apply them in solving real life problems (and those in exams, of course!).
My students have taken the skills I have taught and gone to do excel in exams or perform better in their internships and work.

I use a two prong approach. Knowledge-based content details are taught with active repetition techniques. Concepts are taught through the use of diagrams and systematic recall techniques.
Lessons may range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. More is fine as well, but only if it is necessary.
I have tutored undergraduates as an undergraduate. I also have professional research experience and am a biology olympiad medallist (top theory score).
I teach biology from GCSE to A levels as well as at undergraduate level. I can teach IB and other syllabuses as well.
