About Kiran
I'm Kiran, a Neuroscience student at King's College London, predicted a First Class degree. Before university I achieved A grades in A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, as well as the Connolly Trust Foundation Scholarship for academic excellence throughout sixth form.
I've been tutoring since 2022 and have delivered over 800 lessons to students aged 4 to 19, across primary, GCSE and A-Level. My student base has grown 50% year on year, almost entirely through referrals, which reflects the trust students and parents place in me.
Alongside private tutoring, I lead Peer-Assisted Learning sessions at KCL for 400+ first-year university students, and serve as President of the KCL Neuroscience Society, where I regularly manage large-scale events and communications. I'm used to working with people of all ages and confidence levels, and I take every student's progress seriously.

I tailor every session to the individual. Before we start, I find out where your understanding sits, what's not clicking, and what you want to get out of lessons. My sessions focus on active understanding, not passive note-taking:
Concept-first explanations before diving into exam content
Worked examples and past paper practice woven throughout
Socratic questioning to pinpoint exactly where understanding breaks down
Drawing on my Neuroscience degree to explain the why behind the biology and chemistry, making content stick rather than just memorised
Lessons are typically one hour, with 90-minute sessions available for those who want to go deeper, especially closer to exams.

A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, plus GCSE students building foundations ahead of sixth form. I've worked with students across all confidence levels, from those who are struggling to those pushing for top grades at competitive universities.
