About Barney
I am passionate about Latin and Greek in a world where less and less people have access to these subjects. So I am keen to inspire young people to share the same enthusiasm I have for such wonderful subjects. I am also here to help people learn, consolidate or revise in order to succeed in more serious exams.
Having studied Latin and Greek for over 8 years, and having studied it for GCSE and A level, I know the sorts of techniques needed to achieve the best possible grades at exams.

I'm a keen linguist and achieved 9's at GCSE level for Latin, Greek, Spanish and French. As a lover of ancient culture, as well as teaching the important tips and techniques of passing exams I will also focus on the exciting and interesting aspects of the subject.
I can do lessons from 30 minutes to 2 hours, although around one hour is advised. I can teach beginners, up to those looking to revise for GCSE's, and I can also teach how to pass public exams or private school entrance papers. I have a friendly and enthusiastic working environment.
