About Alex
I am a student with a particular enthusiasm in maths hoping to teach at GCSE level or below. Having completed the A level curriculum with a predicted a star I have some experience. I do not have much experience tutoring having only tutored my younger sister for her GCSE but I have a strong basis in maths and passion for the subject as well as my own established revision techniques which took my hours to develop during my own GCSE. Also my knowledge is very up to having completed my maths exam under the reformed 1-9 system.

My teaching style will rely heavily on past paper material and question based work. If the student has an area of particular difficulty then this can of course be addressed at a concept level first before we work on some targeted questions. As one gets closer to the exam broader past papers are really important because they cover many topics and highlight weakness.
