About Grover
I have been teaching over sixteen years, averaging class size of 25 students from grades 4-8 and special education students from k-12. Many of my students have gone on to become members of National Honor societies, graduated from college, and successfully passed their SOL's (standards of learning).

I am currently a school teacher with over 16 years of experience in the areas of Middle School (4-8) and Special Education (k-12). I believe in teaching to students using their strongest mode of learning such as being a visual, auditory, or a kinesthestic type of learner where hands on learning is emphasized. Further, I believe in daily warm-ups of previously discussed material following by the introduction of new content which will include the critical elements of instruction which will include guided practice, independent practice, review, and closure of material covered during classroom sessions. In using this approach, I will put emphasis on the Bloom's approach to learning which will include elements as knowledge, comprehension, analysis, etc.
