About Anvitha

Dedicated Mathematics tutor with 5 years of experience tutoring Primary and Secondary school students.

I enjoy working with children. I have worked in Kumon, after school clubs, crèches and I have coached the school hockey team too.

My goal is to boost their confidence and unlock their full potential in mathematics through logical reasoning and problem solving questions

I encourage my students to ask questions and to explain concepts/their reasoning in their own words. I also give monthly assessments to analyse their progress.

I truly believe that with the right guidance and a structured approach, anyone can improve their mathematical proficiency!

About the lesson

In the initial free lesson:

• Firstly, I assess the student’s ability with a quiz to understand their mathematical proficiency

• I go through the quiz questions with clear explanations tailored to their level of understanding

• I then discuss how I would like to structure future lessons to support the student’s understanding and build steady progress thereafter
