About Dicola
When it comes to getting work done I’ll make sure it gets done in a fun way. I never agreed with the “teacher's way” of doing things where you read words and learn the definition of them until you know what they are by heart. It gets boring and I’ve always learned hands-on or by practice. I like to bring snacks with me and build their trust with them almost like a friend they can rely on. Not only that but it helps to have someone who isn’t an adult help them. We’re able to relate to their struggles a little bit more.

I’ve always loved to teach children and always wanted to be a teacher. I’m really patient and love to befriend the students I help. I’ve always felt that getting to know them a little helps you understand why they might struggle or just don’t want to do certain things. Then you can always adjust to their pacing or way of learning. I keep it fun and love to laugh with them when times are easy and relate to them when things get hard. :) So far all of the students I’ve helped are doing really well now.
