About Yousef
My name is Yousef Makkawi. I am the current Junior Dux and Head Student of my school, and next year will be studying medicine at Edinburgh University. Maths has always been a passion of mine as it can be used to explain a plethora of real life interactions. I enjoy helping others and want to spread this passion for mathematics and help students boost their confidence when it comes to tackling questions.

Having practised maths extensively over the past few years, I understand the National 5 and Higher Maths courses in great depth, using this knowledge I was able to simplify tricky concepts for others to understand. I enjoy looking for ways in which I can make my lessons engaging and interesting, so others can see how fun mathematics can truly be.
