About Alexandra
I am currently a licensed swim instructor for ages 4 and up and currently working towards a degree in education. My teaching experience comes from teaching swim lessons since high school as well as my field experiences as a teachers aid/student teacher.

I would describe my teaching approach as making the subject relatable to the student(s) as much as possible. Finding a correlation for students of all different learning abilities helps them see the bigger picture as too why they are studying something. I like to call it “cultivating a love for learning” because in order for a student to actually learn an objective, there must be a drive to understand the material before them. Teachers are able to foster that love for learning more than people realize and it is something that students will carry with them beyond academics.
