About Madison

I am from Cincinnati OH, where I graduated high school in 2026. During my time in high school, I was in Honors and AP English courses, as well as our school's student-run newsmagazine. Through this organization I wrote and edited a variety of articles for publication, and learned essential skills in AP Style and story structure. I enjoy working with other students to develop their consistency that is imperative for career readiness.

About the lesson

Hello! As a former high school student, I understand how tricky it can be to learn more advanced writing techniques and prepare for big tests. My lessons include resources to help students memorize MLA Style, structure different types of essays, develop journalistic writing skills, and learn fundamental grammar rules that will benefit them on assignments and tests. My lessons are for any high school student who needs assistance at any level they are at.

Students are asked to provide an initial target focus area they want to work on during the lesson, and I will deep dive with them into skills they should practice to be successful in that area. For larger lesson plans, please provide a larger area to focus on and the end goal you hope to reach.

I am open to any questions about more specific things I can help with while tutoring, so do not be afraid to message and ask!

Madie helped me a lot in high school with writing essays. She was very kind and thoughtful. If I wasn’t understanding something she always took a lot of time to explain what I did wrong and how I should fix it. I would definitely recommend going to her for your English needs.
