My lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on building confidence, clarity, and strong communication skills. With a background in Journalism and PR, I place a strong emphasis on clear writing, critical thinking, and effective expression—skills that are essential for both exams and real-world communication.
I use a structured but flexible approach, combining guided practice, discussion, and targeted feedback. For exam-level students (GCSE and A-Level), I focus on essay structure, analysis, and exam techniques, using past papers and mark schemes to build familiarity and confidence. For adult learners or those looking to improve general English, I incorporate conversation practice, reading, and writing exercises suited to their goals.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I’m happy to adapt depending on the student’s needs. I’ve previously tutored students of different ages and abilities, so I’m comfortable working with a range of levels—from secondary school students to adult learners looking to improve their English for academic or professional purposes.
