Firstly, I would understand the students grasp of the language and how informed they are. Then I would proceed to brush up basics and teach the rest of the topics with material suitable to their skills.
Secondly, I would give them literature to read to expand their syntax of the language as well as knowledge of literature.
Thirdly, I would conduct weekly tests to make sure that the students is able to apply their knowledge to realistic situations with ease.
