Hello! I'm Tanya, a dedicated English tutor with over seven years of experience teaching children aged 4–14. I specialize in helping young learners build strong foundations in reading, writing, grammar, phonics, vocabulary, and spoken English through engaging and personalized lessons.
I am certified in Jolly Phonics and Grammar, IELTS (Band 8.5) and have experience supporting students with school English, confidence building, and preparation for assessments, including the Australian NAPLAN curriculum. I believe that every child can succeed when learning is engaging, encouraging, and tailored to their individual needs. My goal is not only to improve a student's English skills but also to help them become confident, independent learners who enjoy the learning process.
My lessons are designed for children aged 4–14, including preschool, primary, and middle school students. I also support learners preparing for school assessments, English examinations, and the Australian NAPLAN curriculum.
Each lesson is personalized to match the student's age, learning style, and goals. I begin by understanding their strengths and areas for improvement, then create structured lessons that build skills step by step. Classes include a mix of reading, phonics, grammar, writing, vocabulary, speaking, storytelling, educational games, and interactive activities to keep students motivated and actively involved.
