About Isabel
As a dedicated student at Punahou School and a participant in the prestigious Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program—reserved for students scoring in the top 1% nationally—I bring both strong academic credentials and a deep love for learning. I’ve successfully completed Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 1 & 2, and Honors Precalculus ahead of my grade level, which means I not only understand the material—I’ve mastered it. But more importantly, I know what it feels like to struggle, feel stuck, or need a different explanation to make it finally click. That’s exactly what I provide: clear, patient guidance from someone who truly gets it. I take my role as a tutor seriously—coming prepared, listening carefully, and adjusting my teaching style to meet each student's needs.
