About Sumit

Hi, I’m Sumit—a friendly, results-driven tutor who’s passionate about unlocking mathematical talent. With double MBAs from Oxford University and IIM Lucknow, I bring strategic thinking and academic rigour to every lesson.

I specialise in preparing students aged 9–16 for the UK’s leading maths competitions—JMC, JMO, IMC, IMO, and beyond. My teaching focuses on making problem-solving exciting and accessible, while sharpening the skills that matter most: logic, creativity, and perseverance.

As the founder of the OxbridgeInstitute, I’ve helped students gain entry into top grammar schools and thrive in advanced maths settings. I also created the 'RoxBridge Maths Challenges', a nationwide initiative encouraging mathematical exploration among students aged 9 to 14 across the UK.
