About Maria
I am currently a 3rd year PhD student in Aquaculture and Genetics at JCU, Australia. My previous education includes a MSc in Marine Biology from JCU and a BS in Environmental Science from Duke University, U.S.A.
I have tutored for I tutored high school- university level students in science, math, history, and English for 7 years. This tutoring experience includes one on one tutoring sessions, discussion groups, computer labs, and biology labs. Additionally, I have two years of long term substitute teaching experience, with 6 months experience working with special needs students.
