About Lakshana
I am a 3rd year medical student at JCU and I have been offering private and group tutoring for a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry for high school students since 2016 (IB and QCAA). I completed my IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma achieving a score of 42/45 in 2016 (equivalent to 99.40 ATAR).
I have also tutored English, as part of the Vinnies Refugee Assistance Program in Townsville in 2018.

I would be more than willing to adapt different teaching styles, depending on the learning style of the student. There is no singular standard to teach by, and I prefer to have friendly tutoring sessions where no one is afraid to clarify the questions or difficulties they may have. The sessions will be led by the students and I will try to make it as interactive as I can.

Details
I am flexible with tutoring hours - it does not have to be a set time each week. I also prefer to tutor at the JCU library which is 2 minutes away from my house.
