About Jérôme
I am a professional saxophone player, composer and music teacher living in Bordeaux. Graduated in musicology and classical musical training, I also study jazz, big band writing and arrangement, saxophone and improvisation at Conservatoire de Bordeaux Jacques-Thibaud.
I play in several bands too.

It is important to understand how each pupil approaches the instrument, the practice and feeling of musical theory. Once we agree on a common basis, my teaching is made of concepts taken from examples (songs, standards, score analyzes), understandable by the student, regarding her/his own knowledge. For instrument and improvisation lessons, I work for the bigger part orally, by transcribing themes and solos, offering technical exercises and harmonic reinforcement.

Details
I give home lessons in Bordeaux city-center and at my place. I can go a little bit farer with €1 charge for each km from Bordeaux.
The first meeting (free) takes place exclusively online. We meet and talk to schedule the learning program.
I demand a CESU payment.
Free cancelling is accepted at least 24h before a one-to-one home lesson or before 8.pm the day before an online lesson (if not, 50% will be charged)
