About Julie
"Strict discipline often creates the most spontaneous musical freedom at the keys. I have taught 446 students over 12 years, moving them from uncertain starters to accomplished performers.
My instruction emphasizes chord voicing, dynamics and expression, and proper posture and hand position. I also cover jazz improvisation, pop and contemporary styles, and essential accompaniment skills. Teaching these mechanics to students remains one of the most enjoyable parts of my day."
