About Isha
I have been tutoring for over 8 years, and have experience teaching Japanese to high school students. I've worked with both independent students and students studying in a classroom setting.
I studied at the University of Tokyo in Japan, and also hold a Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 (business proficiency) certification.

I'm happy to supplement students' classroom studies, as well as create lesson plans for students studying independently. I personally like guiding students along with a textbook; we start with the Genki books (I and II), following by Tobira, and finally, a specialized upper-intermediate/advanced book called "Introductions to Japan," which covers more specialized vocabulary normally used at a upper-high school/university level in Japan. I also supplement studies with listening, reading, and speaking practice. I am especially adept at teaching students Kanji.
