About Takeshi
I am a Japanese national who has studied and taught philosophy in the United States, Europe, and China for more than 16 years. I speak fluent English and Japanese. I am often asked to give lectures on various topics on Japanese language, culture, and philosophy at universities in Asia, Americas, and Europe.

My method of teaching is based on both topics that students are interested in and goals that they would like to achieve. If students love anime, we will explore Japanese language and culture through them and if they are interested in cultural history, we will look at different materials. I will also use a number of secondary sources that are written or filmed on the primary topics and help students increase their general knowledge of Japan. I can also help students access information on Japanese society and culture in Belgium and if they wish to go to Japan, I can assist them with the best way for each of them to do so.
