About Alex
I'm a fluent Japanese speaker who learned as an adult starting in Wellington University then onto the University of Canterbury. I completed a study abroad at Akita International University. I was accepted into the Japnese government's JET Programme. I have travelled, studied, lived and worked in Japan.

I would love to meet any and all interested in learning Japanese! I'd be a perfect first teacher to learn from as I have heaps of experience designing lessons that are fun and engaging! I also learned Japanese myself from the time I was already an adult and onwards, so I know exactly the challenges and pitfalls a new Japanese learner will want to know!
